Blairstown

Blairstown, New Jersey

WCPP installed garden beds near the entrance sign to the bridge leading into lovely Footbridge Park and along Lambert Road.

Footbridge Park

WCPP has planted two native gardens in Blairstown, New Jersey. One sits at the entrance of Footbridge Park, a serene outdoor destination with walking trails, scenic views, and a picturesque footbridge. This bridge was a gift from John Insley Blair.

To beautify the park entrance and enhance biodiversity, WCPP installed a small garden bed near the entrance sign in 2025. The garden bed has native flowers and is regularly maintained by members of WCPP.

Joel McGreen Memorial

The second garden site is located along Lambert Road surrounding a beautiful memorial for Joel McGreen. Joel McGreen has been pivotal in the preservation of over 1300 acres of land in Blairstown Township, including a 35-acre park on Lambert Rd. The Township of Blairstown desires to honor Mr. McGreen for his many years of dedicated service to the township. The memorial was enhanced with native flowers.
